It seems as if police themselves feel threatened. Law enforcement claims that there has been a steady increasing rate of civilians attacking and killing police, specifically from people of color, producing a movement called Blue Lives Matter. Nonetheless, the Blue Lives Matter movement is not needed; law enforcement already have special protections for them such as extensive indictment for those who commit crimes against police; they do not need further protections when the amount of police that get killed compared to the number of black civilians that get killed by police is unmatched, and police are undeserving of reform because they will continue to kill black people shamelessly while pushing for reform for their own cause .
