The Blue Lives Matter Movement is a movement created to denounce Black Lives Matter. The followers of Blue Lives Matter will continue to support and feel as if they are engaging in a necessary cause because policemen are getting laws passed on their behalf which makes followers believe that there is a real problem. With the advancement of technology, everything is being accounted for more than ever especially on social media. People are just more aware of the problem because it is being reported and making it to the big news. Police continue to kill black people because of false, mediocre reasons and yet they don’t get accounted for.  People fail to realize that Black Lives Matter is a movement that started from a hashtag. It is not an organized group such as black panther or the KKK. Anyone can be included in it just because they say so. Therefore, it is not valid to blame the movement for one person's actions just because they also support the movement. The main goal of Black Lives Matter is to spread awareness about the injustices black people face every day. If one person does something that is different from the groups motive then it cannot be connected.
