Why The Movement is Unnecessary

When a policemen takes off that uniform and walks around town, there is no outward symbol of that career. It is simply an occupation that can only be symbolized when a uniform is worn. The work that is done in the police force is only a portion of one's life not a whole ‘Blue Life’. However, pertaining to black lives matter, one may not be able to remove their black skin tone whenever they want as police would. Nevertheless, one cannot be a blue life 24/7 if they weren’t before they became a cop and after they retire or quit. Concerning the people who qualify to be protected under a law for a hate crime, “no one can choose to have or not have any of those characteristics”. Police are choosing to be policemen therefore, because it is a choice to reside in that career it cannot be a hate crime.

Blacks are killed the most because they are actually part of the group that qualifies for hate crimes and they get targeted by police the most for their skin tone.
The Blue Lives Matter Movement present themselves as a group trying to spread awareness for policemen but they also present themselves as a hate group making racist remarks online. On July 11 2016, players from the Minnesota Lynx WNBA team wore T-shirts to their warm ups with a Black Lives Matter logo along with badges honoring the police officers gunned down in Dallas by the black nationalist Micah Johnson. In a Blue Lives Matter Facebook post in response to the shooting, one person said ““I hope some crazy, black, ex-military personnel decides to shoot up the team and nobody responds to save them... f**k BLM,””. There were many more posts like those: wishing violence and death on a group of innocent people. Blue Lives Matter supporters are wishing for the same thing they are trying to raise awareness for onto another group yet they say the other group is more violent than they are. How can you wish for violence and hatred for others while trying to resolve it for yourself?
